I was overseas with my mother from the 2nd of March 2020, to the 18th of March 2020. A lot happened with coronavirus in Australia during this time, and when we returned, we were legally required to enter self-isolation. This is my brief diary to document my experiences. (For other posts see: Prelude. Part one. Part two. Part three. Part four. Part five. Part six. Part seven.)

Bobcat in our kennel yard
Bobcat in use in our kennel yard, levelling the ground (and getting rid of those star droppers!).

Today was bobcat day! We had a list of jobs for the bobcat. We:

  • Levelled the kennel yard
  • Pulled up an unwanted brick border
  • Pulled out wooden posts, star droppers, and metal posts
  • Moved a pile of gravel
  • Removed and moved a compost heap
  • Knocked out a stump
  • Moved some blocks of concrete
  • Levelled a small amount of dirt out the front

I say ‘we’ but what really happened is husband drove the bobcat, and I brought out food, drinks, and ran around doing periphery jobs as necessary.

Afterwards, I made dinner, and dropped a plate on my foot and it immediately egged into a bruise.

I finally got up to date with Married at First Sight. Now I get to wait for Sunday night to keep going with the fun.

I started to learn the rules for ‘Star Realms’, in preparation for playing it tomorrow.

That was it. Not a lot to say – I was using my body not my mind today.
